About the Eugene Opera Ambassadors program

The Eugene Opera Ambassadors promote a greater appreciation of opera and increasing a strong and supportive relationship between the Eugene Opera and the community.  It takes many hands and voices to do this. Fortunately, we have 36 years of the Eugene Opera’s successes to build on.

Come build with us. You are invited to join with the Eugene Opera Ambassadors by sending an email to ambassadors@eugeneopera.com (and providing your name, address, and telephone number).  We will contact you regarding upcoming meetings and events, as well as volunteer opportunities.  You can call us at the Eugene Opera office at 541.485.3985 (regular hours are Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 10am and 2pm).
 
Volunteer activities include projects to build support for the Eugene Opera, and opera generally in the community, the Artists Mentor Program (AMP) and the Cascadia Concert Opera.  We also offer educational opportunities to learn more about operas, cultural insights, and time to meet with your friends and neighbors who share your love of opera and all things operatic. 

• The Annual Sharon Heitman Auction Dinner will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 5:30 pm at the Valley River Inn (VRI). Volunteers are needed to help plan and manage this event, one of the two fund raising events for the Eugene Opera. Please contact us to volunteer.

• The Aria Auction Dinner will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Eugene Country Club. The Ambassadors are helping with this important fundraising event. So sign-up to come lend your helping hands.
